This is our plan for Yatzy, one of six family games we added to the roadmap in September 2026. We haven't started it yet, and its place in the build order is still being decided.

How Yatzy plays
Five dice. Three rolls a turn. Fifteen boxes to fill.
Roll
Roll all five. Keep any you like, and roll the rest, up to three times.
Score
Put the roll in one open box: ones to sixes, pairs, straights, a full house and more.
Win
When every box is filled, the highest total wins. Score 63 or more in the top half, and you earn a bonus.

Good to know
When will Yatzy be released?
Not yet. Yatzy is on the roadmap, and we haven't started it. We never announce dates we can't keep. The day it's ready, this page will have a download link.
Will it cost anything?
Only if you choose Pro. Yatzy will be free to download and the whole game free to play. Pro will be an optional one-time purchase. There will never be ads or a subscription.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Playing together is the whole point. Invite people you know over FaceTime or Messages with SharePlay, or through Game Center, live or taking turns over days. It's always free, with no accounts and no servers of ours. There's no matchmaking with strangers.
Is this Yahtzee?
No. It's Yatzy, the public-domain dice game that came before and beside it, with its own scorecard. “Yahtzee” is another company's trademark, and we don't use it.
Are the dice really random?
Truly. Each game's rolls come from a random seed, and you can review every roll afterwards. Nothing is weighted to keep you playing.
Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No to both. Playing alone works offline, with no account and no sign-in. Your games and stats stay on your device.
Will it come to Android?
It's in the plan. Once the iPhone and iPad apps are done, we mean to bring the whole collection to Android.
Data Not Collected
That's the App Store privacy label on every app we make, Yatzy included. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising. What you do in the app stays on your device.
