That's the whole policy. The rest of this page simply explains what it means in practice.
Effective 26 September 2026. Applies to every app made by Friends with Modems and to this website.
In short: no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts. What you do in our apps stays on your device. That's why the App Store privacy label for every app we make says Data Not Collected.
What our apps collect
Nothing. Our apps contain no advertising, analytics, attribution or third-party crash-reporting code, and they never ask to track you. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and we never ask for your email address.
What stays on your device
Your games in progress, statistics and settings live on your device, so the app works fully offline. We can't see them.
iCloud sync
Where an app offers iCloud sync, your data is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple's services. It travels between your devices, not to us, and we have no access to it. You can turn it off in the app's settings or in your iCloud settings.
Purchases
Optional in-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells us only aggregated, anonymous sales figures.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. They help us fix bugs and can't identify you. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Playing with friends
When you play with friends, your moves travel directly between your devices, or through Apple's SharePlay and Game Center. We don't run any servers for it, there are no accounts, and we never see your games.
This website
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Like any website, the server that hosts it may briefly keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep it secure and running. We don't use them to identify or track anyone.
Children
We collect no personal information from anyone. So we collect none from children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. Our promise won't change: no ads, no subscriptions, no tracking, ever.
